- Dad walking his 8-month-old. Joe got excited about the kid, and the dad was named Joe too. Instant click.
- Paying $30/mo for T-Mobile home internet. Already knew fiber was better.
- Objection: "just me and my wife, we don't use much."
- Closed on: he brought up a solar story himself. People who got in early pay ~$70 for power; latecomers paid more. Joe tied it to "we're opening this project and working on all the houses now". Get in early.
- That's one of Witt's 4 reasons people buy: preparing for a future opportunity.

Use the neighbors
Listen, drop a real neighbor into the pitch more. "The Johnsons two doors down just switched" does more than any speed number.
Why it works: Cialdini: "people in THIS room reused their towel" lifted reuse 33%. Similar people beat generic proof.
🏆 Yesterday + today's standard
- Best day since we got here, and we won the company competition by a landslide (whole company, Team Florida included).
- Split: Joe 3 · Ahmad 2 · Adam 2. Every one of us got on the board.
- Yesterday is the new standard. 6 a day together, no matter who or how. More once Joel joins.
- Late sales saved the day (5:50 PM, after 7 PM). You can always save a day.
- Watch 101 count down every day.
1Door stories · what closed them
Joe · 3 sales
- James was on his riding mower and super friendly. Joe pitched him, then redid it simpler when his wife came back from her walk.
- TV was their only concern, so Joe sold only the TV. He handed her a YouTube TV channel sheet and checked every channel she asked about. No speed test, no internet talk yet.
- Landline: their Xfinity line was broken. Our landline is $25; Joe also showed a VoIP app at ~$9/mo (~$90/yr).
- Bill went from $300+ to ~$140 for all three. Install booked for Wednesday.
- Didn't assume the sale. He went back and explained the internet (shared network vs fiber) anyway. She was blown away.
- James signed from the text confirmation link right away. They brought up referrals on their own.
- He only peeked out. Joe hit the opener with perfect tonality, which made him curious, and he came out.
- "What kind of work?" Joe didn't answer it straight. He kept the curiosity going.
- Name-dropped James: "we just set him up, $300+ down to $137." His eyes lit up.
- A few "does that make sense?" check-ins. Zero objections.
Joe's price joke: "Guess how much? $200… just playing, $65." Sell the value first, then the reveal lands.
Ahmad · 2 late sales
- Zero through the first half. Took a timed 30-min break, reset, then got one before 6 and one before 7.
- Sale 1 · mom + son: the older mom didn't follow it, so Ahmad asked her to get her son, who handles the internet. He sold himself, turned her stove down so she could come out, and had her sign.
- Sale 2: after a work-call "no" and a door going nowhere, he moved on, and the next door closed. "Every no is closer to a yes."
- Pending · husband with an angry wife: saved him ~$8,000 over ~3 years (2nd-most ever, behind a $10K one). She was yelling "don't commit." Ahmad had him talk to her himself, on his day off (Monday).
- Pending · boat guy: friendly, flip phone, said to call him. He'll sign. This one should have been sold on the spot.
- New opener works: "See these lines on the poles? We're replacing them with fiber. We're out here this week, probably next week too." Curious, not salesy.
- No-soliciting guy, ex wine seller, wanted him gone. Ahmad kept it friendly and complimented his Halloween decorations.
Adam · 2 sales
- Hard start: close with ~3 people, nothing signed until late.
- Sale 1 · the "we'll pass" house: the son had texted "my parents are going to pass." Around 5:30 he went anyway: what do you lose? The dad in the yard sent him to the wife. Landline + internet + TV, $300+. Easy sign.
- Her objection was "not sure what speed." His answer: start at 1 Gig, change it later any time.
- Install: "Thursday or Friday?" She's only off Wednesdays, so: "I'll squeeze you in next Wednesday."
- Smart order: he had 1 yes/no follow-up and 2 "husband comes home" callbacks. He did the husbands first while it was still light and saved the yes/no guy (who knows him) for after dark.
- Callback 1: smoke screen after smoke screen, no sale. Left his number: "I'll call tomorrow for a yes or no."
- Callback 2 (green Audi in the driveway): husband home, pitched him, closed right as it got dark.
2Coaching points
- Tonality is everything. In Swedish telemarketing everyone reads the same script; some sell 10 lines a day, some sell zero. The voice is the difference. Same on the doors.
- Product and fiber infrastructure first, price last. Even against a cheap $30 T-Mobile plan, ask what they have today and sell the fiber. Don't go the lazy price route.
- Don't assume the sale, but don't repeat yourself. One extra step is good. Saying the same things again sounds robotic, annoying and desperate, like painting the same spot over and over. If needed, give a short recap right before the close.
- Check-ins ("does that make sense?"): 4–5 per pitch, max. One after the opening ("the only thing you'll pay for is the internet service"), 2–3 in the presentation (copper, shared network, router), maybe one at the close. If they're getting you "I'm good" answers, drop them from the opener.
- Answer a question with a question (Justin's move). "Where do you want the box?" → "Where would you want it?" Now they're saying "I'm getting it."
- Offer two install days. If neither works, squeeze them in.
- Neighbor name-drop: read their face first. Use it only if they like the neighbor.
- Play every hand to win. A door that barely opens is no reason to shorten or soften your pitch.
- Regular doors. They're not bad and not great. Your energy decides the door. Sales breed sales.
- Don't build stories in your head ("they just got home from work…"). Those are small smoke screens of your own, and they lower your belief.
- Chasing your 2 is good, but don't stop at 2. In the right state of mind the boat guy was a sale.
- Routine: put your schedule on your phone now; don't wait for a whiteboard. Take action, move with pace, it doesn't have to be perfect. The magic happens early in the morning. No parties, no distractions; build the bank account.
- Read Jeremy Miner on tonality.
3Objections · how they were handled
| They said | What worked |
|---|---|
| "Just me and my wife, we don't use much." | Future opportunity: get in early, like solar. New project, all the houses now. |
| "We're fine with T-Mobile, $30." | Their internet is a cell signal running the whole house. Sell fiber before price. |
| "What kind of work?" (at the door) | Don't answer straight. Keep the curiosity, stay in the opener. |
| TV is all they care about | Sell only the TV: YouTube TV channel sheet, check every channel. Channels don't disappear like on cable. |
| "We need a landline." | Ours is $25, or a VoIP app at ~$9/mo. Show the numbers. |
| Text: "my parents will pass." | Went anyway and talked to the parents directly. Closed. |
| "Not sure what speed we want." | Start at 1 Gig; it's easy to change later. |
| "I'm only off Wednesdays." | "I'll squeeze you in next Wednesday." |
| Spouse yelling "don't commit" | Let him convince her himself, on his day off. |
| Spouse not home | Come back when the husband's car is in the driveway, while it's still light. |
| No-soliciting sign, wants you gone | Stay friendly, compliment something, leave on good terms. |
| Smoke screens on repeat | Don't go in circles. Leave your number and set a yes-or-no call for tomorrow. |
4Mistakes to avoid
- Setting the goal late. We should have set it on day one.
- Stress → skipped pitch steps. Adam, on callback 1, with dark coming.
- Assuming a younger customer knows fiber is better. He actually feared it would be worse.
- Dropping the price too fast. It made the deal feel worse, not better.
- Repeating yourself before the close. It sounds desperate.
- Lots of small breaks. You never really rest or really work.
- Letting a slow start take over. Most of the last 2 weeks were zeros for Ahmad; yesterday he kept his head up and got 2.
- Map view on the second loop didn't show not-interested houses, so they got knocked twice. Fix: map on the first pass, list view on the second.
- Not going for it with a friendly customer (the boat guy).
5Breaks · the rule
- One break a day, 30 min max. The schedule has 15. Past 30 doesn't add energy; it makes you more tired.
- Up 2–3 sales at break time? Skip it. Stay in the flow.
- Ahmad times his 30 and uses it for business calls. Today he's testing it again; his 2 a day stay guaranteed.
- Over time, aim to cut it to 15.
6Action items
- 6 sales today as a team, and go for 7 again. Post the countdown from 101.
- Track Witt's 4 reasons people buy on every sale:
- Solving a direct issue
- Preparing for a future issue
- Improving a current "okay" situation
- Excited on future opportunities
- Joe: send the YouTube TV channel sheet to the group chat.
- Adam: call callback 1 for a yes or no, and visit the yes/no guy.
- Ahmad: call the boat guy (flip phone); follow up with the $8K husband after Monday.
- Everyone: knock the loop twice, map view first and list view second.
- Try the "lines on the poles" opener. Fewer check-ins, more tonality.
- One timed break, 30 min max; skip it if you're up 2+.
- Schedule on your phone today. Start reading Jeremy Miner.
- Watch the fiber-pitch Instagram reel Ahmad brought up at the end.
- No parties, no spending. Build the bank account.

Alright, we are up and running.
Just more sales, talk pretty much.
Another morning meeting basically.
And we just want to record everything and put it down in notes.
So, yeah, first of all, good morning boys.
Good morning man.
Hope everything is, everything is doing good.
Absolutely, brother.
And boys yesterday good f****** s***. Yeah
Yeah, first day when we're set up our goal
Obviously, we should have set up to go earlier than yesterday, but it is what it is. Absolutely and I
Mean six says a day
108 down now work 101 now
101 left? Yeah, we did 7 says yesterday
So we over at K-Wood once in which is f****** go which is really nice and
Obviously well seven say some us free it's it's good especially what I like the most is
Removing forward absolutely. That's that's what I like the most
Yeah, first week says wise terrible terrible
Yeah, outside sales. I mean you and me have a sick true
Working out has been I mean you guys already know we've not even
The best thing and what I love is before yesterday
We have talked about every single thing we can possibly do. We don't even have to talk about it
But it was like we all was born on you yesterday
Yeah
So and what I'm so happy about is well first of all we did seven sets
We were able to do six sets which is the best day since we came here and I mean
That's one thing that's really good. We got everything as well. We won the competition by landslide
Yeah, yeah
Don't they got more people don't they got more people? Yeah, yeah
And Witt wanted to get him criss and...
Man, this is a game it's gonna have all of us.
Take the wall.
The whole f******... the whole company versus us.
Take Team Florida as well.
Generally the entire company.
Mo just... I mean, just now I can't even work, but you know.
Yeah, I don't think... oh well.
Yeah, but I mean, but generally the entire company, bro.
Smoked them. Smoked them.
But we need this every f****** day.
Every day.
100%.
100%.
100%
Yeah, close the first deal after that and you p***** me off
Like you sit on her right
You just went quiet the rest of the yeah. Oh, I thought Arizona was Texas
Search
I'm real.
Feels good, bro. Feels good.
Feels good. And I want to say one thing as well, like what I like, I love as well is we got the mold, we got the urineses, we got the laces, which is so, so good for the mentality.
And you know, see that, okay, even if I didn't get the urineses, even if you didn't get the urineses, you got three before four.
Five. Four four. Before four. That's what hired me up. I didn't go live. Like, his sales, I was like, f***.
And I know I can't have him like do all that we got a kutsu hundred percent and I know that
Sales breed sales absolutely
And when you go crazy you do three before four well first of all you show because these doors are regular doors
It's not bad words. It's not good. It's not great words
It's it's it's regular doors and we have so much of these doors basically
and and
the thing here because
Joe called me you called me
Pretty early like after you did your two piece. Oh, you free piece
You said like bro people are so nice this all the people are so nice. I was that's the matter. Yeah, I know
I was I was I like for yeah, yeah
regular door
it is
Joe it is prime going out doing what Joe is good on how when Joe is in his prime
Of course people are gonna be nice. Of course they're gonna be friendly. That's the way it is
It doesn't matter where you are when you are in your prime
When we do well people are gonna buy it's simple as that so we decide what the door doors are basically
And that's what I like and also well after that we did all the late sales
Yeah, and we show that bro you carry that the beginning, but that's what really got me high
And that's the thing, like when you do late sales as well, like you're getting, I think
like that's my first sale, like, 550 or something, 550 and the other one was after 7.
And there you also see, and you did exactly the same basically.
So there you see, okay, you can always save a day, 100%, no matter how you start
today, you can always save a day.
You can always have a super great start.
If you can combine those two together you can do f****** warhouse minimum force
But no, I wanna I wanna go through first of all your your days and and Joe I let you start sure
So glad to see that
I haven't today
I came in
Honestly didn't feel like extra extra confident. I felt regular. Yeah, you know what?
I'm getting this pitch down. You know, I started it off s***** yesterday
And I ended up with two at the end of the day
So at least by now I'm pretty I'm pretty familiar with you
And so I thought the pitch first door knock when you guys drop me off a knock twice no answer
I'm walking out guy walks in with this kid
and he's walking his kid I'm like I'm just being super friendly.
Oh hey sir are you doing oh my goodness how old? I'm just so excited about the kid.
And he was like yeah and his name was Joe too.
Oh yeah we clicked instantly.
And we started talking, we started talking bro he was paying 30 bucks a month for a T-Mobile.
Yeah, on internet.
Yeah.
And I'm talking to him, and I'm talking to him.
And he said, like, pretty early on that he knew
fiber was better.
Yeah.
And I just, like, bail on that, bro.
I was like, bro, it is so much better.
Boo-boo-boo, when I start going over it,
I'm like, you know this, you know, you look on your app,
you have a phone line in your app for your internet.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm like, brother, this is just a cell phone running
your entire house.
This, this, that.
His main thing, because he honestly was giving me the objection pretty early.
And it was just that him and his wife, it's just him and his wife right now.
They're a kid, he was their only kid, he's eight months old.
So they're not doing too much on the internet.
But I didn't think about this, but I realized this was what I did.
It was one of the things that Witt said, it was one of the four things that people buy on.
And one of them is preparing for a future opportunity.
We actually need to list all those four things for him just so he can track it.
Yeah, I can find it.
But no, keep going. I'm sorry. Yeah
But but it's preparing for a future opportunity and so we keep talking we keep talking and he was like yeah my
My sister someone he knows the very had frontier this this that and then
He was like he brought up a story. He was like yeah, I think my
Someone else he knew he was talking about solar and he was like yeah
This person they got solar very very early on
And he said they've been paying $70 no electric bill this this that and he said it worked out so well for them
And he said that people that got it later
They basically had to pay more pay for the install this does that time it and over time it was less valuable
And he was like you know sometimes some of these things it's a lot better to get in earth
Yeah, because I was pitching on us just being there. We're opening up this project
Yeah, you know we're working on all the houses right now
You know we're going to get it right, you know basically a new project and he that kind of that's kind of what sold it
And so as soon as he said that a hundred percent
I wrote that way bro, and then I just signed him up, but he was good to go. Oh perfect. So
second sale
Super nice
I mean brother the guy before before you just wait for this. Yeah. Yeah, we just go back to the first show
Sure, sure, sure.
Really quick.
The only thing I would want to say here is,
okay, so the guy's paying for the box, right?
30 bucks.
30 bucks.
Okay, 30 bucks.
Team mobile.
Team mobile.
Work for them, right?
Yeah, they had a discount on cell phones.
Yeah, and work for them, pretty good, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Here's why we're going and pitch the fiber
and the infrastructure,
and we're going for the product first.
Yeah.
And ask the questions about the product,
what they have today, and sell it in,
Nothing, the lazy way we're just trying to find the, you know,
what you pay, yeah, basically we've grown up
and all that.
Exactly what I was doing yesterday, definitely,
but I swear to God, I was not selling on price,
I was not selling on this, I sat there and let you guys
say, I really explained fiber to them
before I even got into it, you know what I mean?
So I showed them the value and then I...
I literally told them like guess how much this cost
Like you know some of them were like, I don't know. I'm like $200. I made a d****** joke and they're like, oh
Okay, and I'm like, I'm just playing 65. Oh s***. Okay. Yeah, that really gets it. Oh, it is
First year
Yeah, yeah, but perfect. Okay. Yeah, we can if we go you said second house second house
I'm walking up the guy. He's like he was already outside
older looking guy and
He's like on his lawnmower. This is that and he's like driving. It's one of the seat of lawnmowers
And he's driving it out of the driveway. Yeah
and
He's driving up to me. He was already like super friendly super chill. He was like
like, what's up man?
James shakes my hand, puts his hand down.
And I'm like, Joe, nice to meet you.
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, we start talking.
And as I'm talking to him, the wife was coming down,
was walking down the driveway, same as the other house.
She went on, she went for a walk too.
And he goes, oh, that's the wife.
She was going for a walk.
I'm like, okay, who would be the person to talk to?
And he's like, I talked to her.
Cool, all right.
So they were both there.
I explained a little bit to him while I was there.
You know the project, you know the whole original pitch and he was happy with it.
He was like, okay, okay.
And then when the wife came, I redid it and I kind of simplified it a little bit more.
And then we started talking TV because that was their main only concern.
And they were paying over 300 bucks for everything.
Always with the TV bro.
Always with TV.
Like they had a landline, this, this, that.
And so I started making it a numbers game.
But I kept it so simple bro.
You guys are doing this.
is this, all I really did, all of my main pitch really,
I just focused on the TV,
because that's all I really cared about.
Yeah, I didn't even check out speed,
I didn't check anything about the internet really.
Yeah, because I already knew it was gonna be faster.
Yeah, I was like, okay, let me check your TV.
So I'm just going through the channels.
I have a piece of paper, a picture of a piece of paper
with YouTube TV channels, so I give it to her,
she starts looking through it, she's like,
okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
I'm gonna send her a group chat,
just so you guys have it.
Nice, she's going through everything,
and I'm like, if there's anything you don't see,
Let me know I'm gonna double check. She's like, oh, what about this?
I'm like, what about chat? It's there. What about this?
Like a bunch of it's there. So we're going through the whole thing and then then
We go into the price. Yeah, and it was like she wanted all three in the landline
And it was weird because she said she had her landline with the Xfinity had like not been working
Yeah, and they were coming to repair it this Sunday. Okay, so I basically booked their install for Wednesday
Right and so with the landline I told her like let him do his thing whenever he's done
I told her I'm not even gonna say do we get a commission on the landline with Verizon? Yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we make a commission off everything bro. Okay, nice. I don't even know that but I basically told her
I'll set you up with VoIP probably. I told her I told her I'd set her up with VoIP. Yeah
I told her I'd set her up with VoIP because I was like listen Verizon does do landlines
We can do all of that but ours is 25 bucks and to be honest with you
I think I have a better solution.
I pull out my phone, I show her a VoIP, VoIP is like 9 bucks a month.
If you do it monthly, if you do it annually, it's like 90 one-time payment and then you divide that by 12, it's like 750 a month.
So I show her both of that, she's like, oh my gosh, this is so much better.
So we do the numbers, but her bill was going down to like 140, from like over 300 for all three.
She was loving it, of course.
She was more focused on a little bit of price.
And then after I sold her on the quality,
or the TV channels and everything that you get,
she was already familiar with YouTube TV.
Yeah, so that worked out great.
And then when I talked price,
numbers made more than sense.
And then I had to read,
I really focused on not just assuming the sale.
I still did a little bit extra.
Perfect.
Because I remember you were talking about that.
I even did it with the third sale too.
And so I went backwards and I was like,
let me tell you about the internet real quick.
And I explained, for a while, you're in shared networks
and I still did that extra step
just to make sure I know I'm doing my job.
Perfect.
So I explained the internet and she was like,
oh my goodness.
Absolutely, like she was overwhelmed by how good it was.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Boom, boom.
Husband, husband.
So sorry, I was just gonna say here.
Okay, so what's good here is,
Well, you didn't assume the sale.
You didn't assume that this was a clear sale,
and you went back and just made sure, okay,
so she understands that the internet
is gonna be better as well.
Which is great.
No soft causes.
Yeah, but what you don't wanna do here,
which you didn't do, which is good,
but I just wanna make that clear,
is you never wanna think like,
okay, I'm not gonna assume the sale,
so I'm gonna repeat the same things again.
when you're repeating the same things too much, you're basically shooting yourself in the end.
100%.
Yeah, you can, of course, you can of course.
Because it's not overthinking it.
Yeah, and also you sound a little bit...
Robotic.
Robotic.
Yeah.
And annoying when you repeat yourself.
But also a little bit desperate when you're repeating yourself too much before you go for a close.
100%.
100%.
And I know, I can remember times that I've done.
Yeah, often when you do that is when you have had maybe a bad day or a bad week and you are not like
When you wait when it's something is when things doesn't go really good and you're a little bit afraid to lose the same
Yeah, yeah, and even if you're not desperate you can still make the same mistake
It's like it's like painting a wall and you keep going over the same spot over and over and over
Yeah, yeah
But what you can do is you can do a quick breakdown again.
Like, okay, from now on.
Yeah, from now on and then you can break it down and then you can just repeat everything very short before you go for a talk.
That you can do. But you should never repeat yourself too much on the good things.
100%.
100%.
Nah, yeah.
I think she loved the entire deal.
Like the numbers were probably what made her jump into it.
But she was liking that there was good, you know, I was telling her about YouTube TV how you know cable
You know one day you'll wake up and a channel you watched for the last five years is just gone
Yeah, that this doesn't happen with you to TV. Well, the channels are consistent. They all stay you get more, you know
The whole nine yards and I told her about the add-ons bra. She loves you TV. Yeah
I think I've ever sold it back in my life
No, and then uh, yeah landline bro that just made sense with the numbers and she said she might not even keep the
So I told her listen if you don't want to keep it
Yeah do what you want to do so
And then that and then the husband the whole time I'm pitching her the husband was just like cutting the grass
Yeah, but he was 75 years old and he looked like he was like 55. That's the right in Satan
She was like yeah, he just he just does this every week
Go crazy. Hey, what's around it right? He was the I'm James. Yeah. Yeah, that's why he's super
Super chill. People like that are happy, bro
And she was so happy. She's dressed over up. His wife was like he's the OG
But they were so cool. Yeah, and they let me p*** in their bathroom, bro
And yeah, I signed I signed up the husband
With the wife his name and everything and then it was so crazy as soon as I sent him the text message with the
confirmation link like so we can check the box he was done so he pulls up and
then she's like give me your phone takes his phone goes to the link does the code
does the check box refresh boom done perfect talk over you know after sale
it a little bit this is that Australian referrals they asked me that it was
crazy I love when they do this this is why it's so good that we have such a
good hit right there because every time they're like oh have you been to them
yet yeah and I'm like no no I haven't and they're like oh you stuck to them
They're super nice. That's the idea what she told me. Yeah, and I go on my map and I look and I'm like
They already have it
Me though
They were loving that yeah
So then the third one I walk and say this is the street
I walk out of their driveway and I just go up here and then I sign this guy
Yeah, I'm not gonna door cold lock guy walks out
boom boom boom, what you saw you doing?
He was actually like just peeking out.
He didn't even come outside.
Yeah.
And I did the perfect tonality, bro.
I think that was my biggest thing,
like that helped the tonality.
Like it's like, just letting you know,
we're gonna be doing some more guy.
Boom.
And they're like-
Curiosity race.
Yeah.
Boom, they come out,
they're either asking a question,
what kind of work, this, this, that.
And I never, you never answer it.
No.
starting tomorrow, you get familiar with Verizon and everything, so I do that whole thing and then he comes out whenever I did that tonality right?
and he just starts listening, he doesn't really ask too many questions, but I started doing a lot but a good, like a very good amount of part-excepts
I have a question, with the part-excepts, yesterday I went for a lot of them, or not a lot but you know, at least in the mall, I would throw a part-except whenever I think is right
Sure. And after I would throw in a party, except they'll be like, I'm like, does that, does that kind of make sense?
And they're like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm good like you know, I'm not interested and I'm like what the f*** like of course
Yeah, I keep pitching them after that. Yeah, the whole point is that I'm getting a lot of objections me doing the part accepts
And when I don't do the part accepts, I'm getting the sales
Well, because the party bro both of my sales I didn't do a single part except yeah
Like none of which I mean it might just work for me
You know everybody I I do a part except not when I'm like trying to sell them on
I'm getting something.
I just want them to understand that we're coming out here in Rural Racing.
The last of five pro optics.
So, you know what I mean?
You know what I mean?
Like, yeah, yeah, yeah, but I'm good man.
Yeah, but you don't come, here's the thing.
It's actually important.
Yeah, I had a couple of people do that too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course, of course.
But in that case, you don't have to do the products in the beginning.
But you wanna, you know, explain the product.
when you're explaining basically the shared network, the different...
And also the first time when you're selling in, so when you print the biggest thing, the most important thing when you want products and stuff is...
So this is straight line, right? Here's the pitch, right?
Yeah.
I would say it can be good to do it in the pitch as well, but you don't have to.
If you feel like you're getting objections...
I don't.
No, I don't.
You don't have to. It might be better if you take the power stick and just go for it.
Yeah.
And then after that, well, you have your needs analysis and part of sex
Portacept well, you're basically asking questions and you can throw in some of them as well, but you're basically asking questions
But when you present the five, okay, so now
That's exactly the presentation. Yes, I only throw my first part except comes when I say
My first part except comes when I say the only thing you're gonna pay for is the Internet service
Does that kind of make sense?
Generalize the whole yeah, yeah, cuz I spoke a lot, you know saying I said a lot of stuff
So then I throw it in right after the pitch then I asked my questions
That's my questions when I'm explaining and I go over an idea so main reason right here
So on the presentation pretty much. Yeah, okay makes when you're explaining copper wire
Does that make sense when you're explaining shared network does that make sense?
I'm gonna route or you know, you get so it's only like it's really only like four or five of them
throughout the entire pitch to be honest.
One of the pitch, two or three or four in the presentation,
maybe one more as they're closing.
And that's it.
That's it.
Beautiful.
So yeah, yeah, yeah.
But basically I did a good part except
after I explained the pitch, yeah.
And then I started asking questions,
asking questions, asking questions.
He's also a chemical agent.
He also had a,
I have a computer that.
Yeah.
Also, he also had internet TV. He had a landline. Yeah, but he he was like
Yeah
I just I was like, do you know mr. James just across the street. He was like, I know Jamie
Beautiful we actually just set him up as well. I just built him a quote
Funny enough. He was also paying well over 300 for internet TV landline and I got him down to
137 I don't know if I should have done like throw that in early yeah but when I
did yeah but his eyes lit up yeah I mean a guy who's f****** shaking your hand
you know he knows a whole neighborhood yeah so like yeah and he's just like
didn't really he didn't say anything but I could see him be like huh and then I
just kept talking kept talking kept talking and everything made so much sense
Yeah, he didn't give me a single objection. Yeah, he was just like
All right. Yeah, so
Yeah
Two things you did really went here. Yeah
Well, first of all, you can go with that that thing first sure
When you're referring on the neighbor when we're talking about the neighbor if they don't like the neighbor
It might not be a good thing sure but when you say you you probably know them, right?
And you can see almost on the reaction like if they do if they're
They can be like, yeah, I just help them as well
and they can just go through it, but if you don't like the reaction
but if you see that, yeah, yeah, I know them, then of course
I know, yeah, do it. But the most important thing
and what I think was the best thing you did yesterday, I know that's the best thing
is, do you guys wanna guess?
You explain it on this sale pretty good.
Yeah. I want to say just be in myself. Yeah, that goes in line with that. That goes in line with that for 100% but I think the tonality and how you spoke.
Yeah. Okay, so here is what we say important. Obviously. Of course. Yeah. What we say is important, right? Very important.
But what is the biggest difference between a great f****** sales agent?
Yeah.
And a okay sales agent.
How you speak.
We see this very, very clear in telemarketing for example.
When I worked in Sweden, we have like every single department.
We sell cell phone lines.
We sell streaming packages.
We sell fiber optics where I work most basically.
And when we're doing telemarketing there is, when we're doing telemarketing there, we have basically a script.
Obviously everybody does their follow the script completely, but there are projects where people do it.
There are like, when you send a cell phone line, very simple, you're switching over people basically from
from TRE to TEL2. Basically you're selling people from T-Mobile to Verizon, cell phone lines, right?
They have a script. People are following the script.
But there are people who sell f****** 10 lines a day.
There are people selling f****** 1's, 2's, 4's, 0's.
Everybody's doing the same script. What's the difference here?
How you speak.
And that's the thing. During telemarketing, that's your only 2.
Your voice.
Because they don't see how you look, they don't see like what you do with your hands, they don't see if you smile or not.
But they hear your voice and how you speak. And that's the biggest difference.
So you're telling me I'm doing the wrong job?
No, I'm telling you. This is on the field as well.
But this is so much clearer during telemarketing.
Because when you, if you would be in a marketing office, if you guys would be there, and you would see for yourself,
you see people having the script on the computer, and you see people talk, and you know that they cannot use their hands or their face or whatever.
So, it is so much clearer there.
Sure.
On the field, same f****** thing.
This guy who opened the door, well, he maybe didn't come with an objection, but he barely opened the door, right?
Yeah.
What's the worst thing he can do here?
Just because he doesn't bear because he doesn't bear
Bear it because he barely the open door and all that you know worst thing you can do is lowering your sales ability and
Also, maybe doesn't do it the correct way because you are short of what he thinks you just go with it
Yeah, I assume everyone really wants it. They're just like a little shy or a little whatever. Yeah
Yeah, 100% just like well we play poker you get different cards, right?
He maybe he maybe wasn't a ace where someone goes up. Hey, check your hand like the first guy
But you still play the game to win. You just
Yeah, so you play the game and the personality in how you speak is
is f****** important and this is like for example German minor he teaches
tonalities we'll treat as well like you're a belfer but you're a minor I
think that's his best thing like he teach now yeah yeah that's his thing yeah
and we're for sure we need to start reading his book that's me maybe it's
not if you guys are gone but I need a strict I need to like I need to put
my schedule on my phone bro yeah I think so I think so I'm waiting for a whiteboard
and this and that do it on the phone in the beginning like like like like even if you
want to do it on the whiteboard like yeah like like 100% like you can use your phone
write it down like the most important thing here is well take action move with pace
do it even if it's not perfect. And I need this routine. I can't even sleep.
One sipping out, but even 12 is like too late for me.
I'm up at six. I need to...
Especially now, I just want to say, especially now when there are no parties, nothing like that.
No distractions. No distractions. We're grinding.
Like the magic is gonna happen early in the morning.
How we start our mornings doing daytime. Yeah, like bro, after you have done it so good. It's actually impressive as f***
But but like for example when we can have a home last last night, you know
You know we eat to which a little bit, you know
But but the talk and the way we work we do in the morning is so much better than but yeah
The one at night, I think we should
I'm kind of like how we do not yeah boys the sock
Yeah, you know 945
Yeah, it's like anybody for bed. Yeah, even uh, I remember I just said back back to your point about telemarketing and tonality and the main thing
one of my boys
he started a
phone sale black and churns yeah, yeah
and
He hadn't done sales before yeah, he came to me. It was one of my best friends in high school. Yeah
Uh, it was the kid remember I told you me and my best friend we didn't like each other. Yeah, yeah, yeah the other kid came
So it was him he's doing sales and nice
So he was asking me for help and advice and tips and I had him pitch me and they just sounded so bad, bro
Like yeah, they started I mean I'm sure like he just he had good tonality, but their script
Like it was like, how you doing is this da da da da and then they said yes
And then he goes oh hey, this is Elijah from the da da da da da, where the da da da da da da
Like it just sounded so scripted. Yes scripted. And I was like oh like bro. Let me fix that
So I made him a script Yeah, and then I like
Tried it out myself
Yeah, and it like sounded so much better off right and like I freestyle a little bit of it
But like just with the tonality that I was like just doing off of reading it
Yeah, he was like d***, bro like how the f*** do you do that?
Yeah, oh no, so yeah, oh nice not only nice
I think that's one of my biggest things yeah
Remember with Paul we first met him and you know when we had me pitch in front of him and I like did it
Yeah, not that he was really good like bro. Yeah, I think that's probably my best
100% I think so I think so as well
That's crazy.
Yeah, okay bro, good s***, one more applaud.
Okay, Eddie boy.
Bro, honestly, and bro, I'll applaud for you as well, bro.
Thank you bro.
Especially, I wanna say, a few days in, we maybe shouldn't applaud and hype our two
peas, just like you and me did now, because I know, I think that's our, I think that's
our, we shouldn't do more than two peas, when we're, to be honest, like, if you
To be honest, if you do two every day, that's good.
But I just wanna say why I actually are so happy
that you did two yesterday is because the last couple of days,
like the last two weeks,
majority of the days has been zero.
And you did two late sales.
And I know you have so many good qualities,
but one of your qualities that have been lacking
and that you wanna work on is the ability
It doesn't let your feelings take over and your
When you're out on the field, you know, it doesn't go your way and you go down and then you basically giving up
Well s*** didn't do yesterday and you hit a one piece around before six and a two-piece before seven so bro
good
It really like how it happened bro is like I said I took that low 30 minute break bro
Just clear to my mind talk to him for a little bit
Yeah, that's something settled whatever I needed to do and then that really helped me like that those 30 minutes, bro
I was there just chill. Yeah, like I was all right now
I gotta get back to it and I time myself I was like 30 minutes exactly how much I'm gonna take
And I'm gonna do that today as well. Yeah, and tomorrow and every day until you know, I'm like alright
This is not working anymore now. I'm taking 40 minutes, and I'm gonna go back and I'm gonna
The thing is it truly does like I was gonna say you might wanna
But the thing is bro, I want to start high and like
Bro that's me knocking the whole time burns me out. That's how it works for me after that that five o'clock mark or four
Which is golden hour. That's what I'm supposed to be knocking. I'm like f*** that like now
It's like I talked to him and he told me he was like just because it's a zero
You know, it's a zero now doesn't mean to zero day. You still have that much hours left
Sure, talk to him a little bit went out there f******
I would say that is if you are up three sales when you take your break
Or when it's time to take your break.
F*** no.
You're not taking that s***.
Absolutely.
Even if I have a low two, that's okay.
Even the two, I'm not doing it.
Because I think it's just trying to,
once you fully understand your flow state,
and you can access it on command,
as soon as you hit the field, you're in flow state,
f*** a break.
I'm gonna break though.
And one thing you have to have in mind as well.
And let me guys tell you why I'm taking this break.
Yeah, yeah, please.
People get home from work around 4.30 to 5, right?
You go knock on somebody's door
right after they go home from work,
they still haven't ate, they haven't showered.
Last thing they f****** want is you on their door.
So for me, that's how I think about it.
You should have think about it like that.
Keep knocking, do whatever you wanna do.
But for me, that's how I think about it
because I come out of my eyes.
And the top of the news too many times,
you know, I knock on the door,
man, I just got off work,
like I really don't got time for this, please.
Just get out of here.
Or like come back tomorrow.
And I'm like, it's pretty important to use it.
Like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm tired, man.
Like I'm dead.
I'm like, all right.
So my solution is just wait till they get home,
relax for even 30 minutes and they go and knock on your door.
I think that is something you build up in your head from that people coming with obligations.
And it can even be small screens?
Yeah, I would say it is small screens.
And that's one thing that I think can be better as well is when you build up, what
I was about to say like assumptions in your head. You're basically doing too much around it.
True.
I think you shouldn't overthink it too much. Like it's just most great. It's just most great.
Exactly the thing like when people are saying you know it works great, it works great, it works great
and you can almost lowering your belief in your own product.
True. Absolutely.
So I would say don't even overthink it like that.
I would say I'm not against the break.
I even put the break on the schedule.
Yeah, true.
Yeah, so I'm not against the break.
I put 15 minutes.
If you wanted to 30 minutes, that's fine.
As long as you feel like that's actually helping you
with 100% with your heart.
If you believe that, I'm not gonna see.
And it truly is, I swear to God.
The second I see it, like I'm like,
all right, now I'm slacking what the f***?
That's what I take it out,
and I lower it down to 15 or whatever it is.
But right now it's working for me.
I'm gonna try it out today as well.
If it works today as well.
I have a theory on that too, but go ahead.
Yeah, let me just say one more thing here.
And I will say, do never take more than 30 minutes.
Absolutely.
Up to 40 minutes.
Sorry, I said that for the second I said down.
Yeah, now, like 40 minutes, now we're stretching a little bit.
Because the thing is, here, you're not gonna have more energy
just because you take 40 or 45 minutes than 30 minutes.
Makes you more tired.
And even if you feel like you're burning out
because you're not getting so much,
Yes, I understand it, but the thing is, well first of all, we don't have like super important things in the world.
Sure.
Like if you're getting burned out or you know, tired a little bit, like just go through it and then when you jump into the car we have nothing really important to do.
That's one thing. Another thing is you actually are, you haven't been sick for a while now and I mean, when you're not sick because you're not gonna be sick forever, right?
Hell yeah.
Yeah.
Thing is, you get sick and I get sick and I get you sick and you get me sick.
Yeah, it's getting bad, bro.
But when that goes over as well,
Yeah, you're gonna have more energy.
True.
You're gonna have more energy and all that.
So, I'm sure that your 30 minutes, I'm pretty sure that over time,
you're probably gonna...
What the f***?
After a while, you probably can actually go down to 15 minutes.
But if you want to do 30 minutes, um, um, I'm not gonna say anything.
I have a little theory on the brain.
I think he works better when he's handling multiple things.
I don't think, I think with the work, I don't think it overstimulates you.
I think it triggers your brain to be locked in more so you can handle more.
Maybe honestly, you know what I'm saying?
You know what I was going to do on those 30 minute break?
And I, you know, I wasn't going to tell you guys this, but I have.
I'm gonna do that but come on no um I actually have appointment set with like clients and
especially starting today like I told them I'm gonna be taking 30 minute breaks every
day I need these times like this exact time so I'm gonna have at least two meetings from
there's something they're not really breaks you're just doing you're just doing something
Those skills are gonna get dropped in the actual chat like archa not not yeah
Yeah, you know it's
This helps me lock back in and at the same time I'm doing something different like I think it gives him more dopamine
He achieves more and exactly because I haven't achieved nothing the whole day 30 minute break
Oh, I just did something you know whether it's talk to him and get something set up or whether it's close
Oh, I'm in or you see an appointment or whatever doesn't matter what it helps kind of give me that
But now if I have two cells in the beginning of the day listen, bro move all my appointments until tomorrow morning or whatever it is
Beautiful. He goes ahead hands with that. I'm not gonna rest in the day
I think I think a break is always gonna be part of your routine now
You're just gonna yeah, you're just gonna know how much you need
Yeah, slow day and you want to do a little bit more with him with this or that
You're gonna take a little bit longer and do that if you're in flow state, but I promise you I don't yeah
One thing is that this is not gonna impact my work here
No, my number just coming in every day my two pieces gonna be guaranteed every day no matter what
Yes, perfect.
And yeah, I mean, when you have a break like that, great.
When you have small breaks during the day, no.
Absolutely.
Just then you're never really going to break.
That's what I was saying.
I was taking multiple breaks.
throughout the day and it was just horrible.
But anyways, the sales yesterday,
honestly, first one, it was very simple.
Guys, mom came out, like I said,
she was a little older, didn't really understand
what's going on, her son was the guy
who knows mostly about the internet.
I was like, please just call her for me.
He came out, she went back inside and started cooking.
And talked to him, talked to him,
cooked him, he was like, yeah, bro, let's do it.
He was like, I'm gonna get my mom to sign up right now.
His mom came back out, she was like,
I have stuff on the stove.
He was like, mom, I'll go turn the stove down.
Don't worry about it.
And I was like, s***, thank you, bro.
And he went turned it down, came back.
She's just laughing giggling whatever sign her up next person
He came out started talking to me totally how much he's paying his wife came out tweaking
Like losing her f****** mind. Don't f****** commit to nothing
Excavator he f***** us and I'm like
And I'm like looking at him like quiet like this just sitting there. She's like screaming at him
I'm like no trust me by girlfriend the same way made a little joke whatever and then off from there
I kind of just ask him how much he's paying and
And I saved him $8,000 and I think it was three years or something like that.
And I told him like straight up I was like listen bro, I have a lady who I saved $10,000 in three years.
You're right under her.
You are the second most, you know, the second most that I've ever saved anybody.
And then from there, since he was like, I told him I was like about the wife man like,
you kind of just need to talk to her yourself.
She's not gonna listen to me but she'll listen to you.
I gave her the information.
He's like don't even worry about it like I'll convince her.
Like I know this is better. I'll get to it. Don't worry about it.
And I was like, when's your off date?
And he's like Monday. I'm like, listen man, don't talk to her any other day than Monday.
I'll tell you that. And he's like, alright, alright, like you know, like made a little joke with him.
And then from there, left.
And he was just pretty black. Couldn't knock anymore.
But um, yeah, it was pretty good.
It was literally crazy because I had like, it was a street like this and a street like this.
And there was like a few houses on it.
And I knocked this one. It was some lady who just kept trying to flirt with whatever the f***.
I was like, yeah, man, like sounds good.
Here's my number. Just call me if you need it.
And I just left because I don't know what the f*** she was talking about.
Yeah.
And then, um...
I just say you gotta be testing this, bro.
Bro, like she was just p****** me off at that point.
I was like, do you want it or do you not?
Like, we're not even talking about this show anymore.
And then, given my number, ended up leaving, went to this guy,
and then ended up selling him and pretty much done there.
Nice.
But, um, another thing that I did was, I had the neighborhood section, right?
What I did was I made a little loop for myself.
That loop, I ran it twice yesterday.
I did it twice.
I swear to God, not every door twice.
Only issue with my f****** system, bro.
It kept saying the house,
it wouldn't tell me what it was.
Whether not interested or whether not.
So I was knocking houses that weren't interested
and people were coming out and were like,
man, you've been here already.
I'm like, oh, I'm so sorry, I just get the f*** up.
But like, what should you do?
Did you knock one street or multiple streets?
Multiple, of course.
It's a loop, it's a circle.
Yeah, so what you can do is...
I already know, now I figured it out.
You know what I started doing?
I do the map first, second one, I do list view.
Yeah, so for the first knock I do I do map the second map the second knock I do list you okay
That's you know how to do yeah, I got it
I figured it was kind of annoying at first and I was like I go on list for you doesn't do the same thing
I went on there and it turns out with changes on list for you
Yeah, so um, yeah start doing you know circle for the first one second one since I'm already familiar with the streets
The addresses I just do list for you
Great
Ask your question
When you went into there
Like later part of the day you were still on zero
How's your mind?
Like did you feel did you still feel good?
Honestly, I just had a go to sales and no matter what I was like I'm getting to sales
Okay, that was that was my whole month of time after that perfect
You didn't went down or like
Before like you know after the whole first half of the day went by and I had nothing
Talked in for a little bit. Honestly, they got me boosted. I was like alright
Like I got something done like this guy, you know, I'm good to go
I got to be appointment set tomorrow or whatever. Let me keep moving. That's great
so the combination of okay, perfect, so
Spoke with Joe you got boosted up. No, not Joe. Uh-huh. Oh, okay. I didn't speak to nobody
Yeah, I didn't call no one. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Okay. I told him after the field ended. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah
We're all dialed in I'm not gonna find her. No, I'm not 100%
That's great. That's great. It was on the three even better even better. So so okay perfect. So
And a f****** c***!
I didn't call nobody.
Perfect, okay. So, great. I just want to say, so you didn't went down when you were out knocking, you still had your head up, still did you think?
The thing here is, what's good as well is you're still focused on your two sails.
Which I think is good as long as you don't become desperate or...
Never.
But I think now...
It's like something in my chest told me like you're gonna get the teeth. Yeah, just keep knocking. Yeah
100%
That frequency like you said, you know, just keep knocking until you find the door that wants it
Like not really wants it, but you know like design to give you crazy
100% and and
One more thing is when you think like I need my twosies. I'm gonna get my twosies
You also converting the purpose of your talking to two sales
For example, here the other day when you told me and when you told us you had a guy that was super cool like super cool guy
You know once it ran gave us the boat and this and that it didn't even try to yeah, yeah
Like that guy you should have sold a hundred and you could have something absolutely in the right state of mind
But you weren't in the right state of mind. No, no, we're on the boat on the lake. Yeah
Yeah, no, he's gonna sign up. Yeah. Yeah, I should actually text him about that guy's number
Bro, he has a flip phone. He was like listen man you gotta call me. That's all I got.
I was like you can't take you. He was like I don't f*** with the internet man.
I'm like alright, I'll go ahead and call you.
But you know like he still had TV inside his house. He wiped us on.
He used the computer a lot so you know he's still in the middle of it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Perfect.
But another thing really, intro. I fixed that. Fixed it a lot.
Like now I'm really grabbing people's interest at the beginning.
Like everybody really wants to talk now. Like I'm like listen we're gonna be coming out here.
See these lines up in the polls. We're actually replacing them to fiber optics where we're coming out this week and um
Most most likely next week as well. I'm assuming I mean we've been here the whole week
So it's probably gonna take a little longer to actually finish everything, but anyways
So it's been working very well like that little curiosity thing like I'm wondering myself
So I don't sound like a salesman
I had a guy like he pointed at no soliciting sign and I just kept pitching and he was like
So you are soliciting and I was like maybe
You started talking I was like what like what'd you do before this and he was like I used to be a wine seller
Man like I used to sell expensive wine
I was like so you understand how the game works and then like that guy wasn't really interested
He was just mad who's like I don't want no business with frontier and this and that but I still talked to him for a little bit
You know even those guys I'm still having a good conversation
Like I literally wanted me off his yard. I just complimented his Halloween decorations from there. You know
Yeah, yeah, and that's how that's good when you come into conversations like that even if they don't buy or even if they do some
B*******, you know in the middle of the sales and I was a second half of the day. Yeah. Yeah, like like
See like, okay
Didn't sign doesn't matter, but I'm getting there. I'm getting that
I'm getting there. That's what I'm saying
I swear to God one thought that kept going through my head was every no was close to a yes
And I knocked the next door and she was interested boom boom boom. I'm on a work call right now
I really can't do it. I was like every nose closer to a yes kept on kept on kept on
Next two houses after that lady was a yes. Yeah, it's insane how it works, but like actually yeah, why are you 100%?
great
Good s***, but I'm going to s***. Thank you. Yeah, for me yesterday blacked up first hold on
Had
I would say really hard start because it wasn't that really really hard start, but I didn't I didn't get the sales
Too late. So yes, I was closed probably closing like three people
And the same thing then
Actually, I was very close to people
I came you know through the conversation with some some guys else
But I wouldn't say I was super close to close now, but then I
was actually
driving past a house I was at the day before. I came there, there's some was on
this sit there and he was like yeah yeah five I know five but five is great and
it was like my parents pay a lot for their thing so I would say come and it was
like I can take your number and you know we are basically sending a text
message with my number and he was gonna call I was gonna come back that
late and then he just texted me this was not yesterday the day before like hi my
parents are going through a lot of things a lot of work things and they
said that we're gonna pass off and I calling him he didn't answer and I was like
texting him like hey you know something they didn't even answer me
I was like f*** it f*** it but I was trying to pass it yesterday like around
5.30 maybe or 5.20 and I was like f*** it I'm just gonna go in there.
What do you lose?
Yeah what I lose I mean I can just try you know so I'll go there and meet the dad on
the yard and he was like also super nice like shaking my hand and he was like yeah
yeah yeah my son told me but I mean I don't know but you should talk with my wife
and he was just bringing her and she was also super nice like yeah and then she was
like ah okay explain.
Yeah, f*** it.
What the hell happened to her?
Yeah.
And then I sit down with her.
Done.
She have landline, internet, they have TV, and you know, I was just going through everything
basically.
And then it was pretty easy to sign them.
Definitely more than 300.
Yeah.
Paying definitely more than 300.
Yeah.
100%.
They paid like 300 bucks.
Yeah, bro.
It's always some b******* like that.
And I was like, she was like, I don't know.
I just did it very, very good.
Sure.
The only thing she came with an objection was about like,
yeah, I'm not sure what speed.
I don't know sure what speed we really want.
I guess we're going to have to handle that later.
And I was like, yeah.
You guys got the board on 1,000.
I'm going to get you guys 1,000.
And then you can just raise the speed later if you want to.
It's very easy.
So, are you guys going to be home on Thursday or Friday?
And she was like, I'm only off work Wednesdays.
And then I just booked a Wednesday.
Yeah, of course.
I love that quote.
To give them two days, and then if it's not those two
days, you still figure out a way to get me there.
Every time.
I'm like, yeah, OK.
You know what?
I'm going to squeeze you in next Wednesday.
We'll make sure you come to us.
Like you just said Thursday and Friday or Wednesday?
Yeah, but yeah, you're gonna bury your life. Yeah
But you know what you know what actually good with that line
So and this is maybe that he can be good with that as well
But let's say they say where in the house are you gonna go in? What do you want us to go?
Yeah, where in the house do you want us to put the phone box?
Yeah, what he does now he doesn't only give me the answer he basically says to himself
I'm getting it. I actually want it in the basement now. It's told himself. I'm getting this is not I want it
Yeah, so that can be so
This is like something Justin so good at because what it is is your answer a question
Was a question. Yeah, you know I'm saying Justin does that all the time
Yeah, that's the best thing he does. Yeah, he was teaching me about it months ago, bro
Like don't answer their questions. Just ask them another question. Yeah, and if they ask you another question
I'm another question. Yeah, like a question. It's like yeah
You can do it so good
100%
But that was the first actually was that the car says
He's eight years old.
Yeah, so yeah.
Then after that, I mean, it was getting almost dark when I was leaving her house.
And I was like, I need to get one more at least.
And I had like one yes or no meeting from the early beginning and he didn't really answer.
And then I had two where the husband was gonna come home.
And I was like, the yes and no meeting, I don't care if I come there when it's dark.
He knows me, I'm gonna go there if it's dark.
taking that the last thing. I'm not gonna go just and get the yes and no.
Very small.
Yeah, because the thing is here, I wanted to get the three piece and I know if I go on
the passband is coming home when it's still light outside.
What the f*** are you doing?
Yeah, then I can still, then I can do the whole thing, sign them up and then just
go to the yes or no meeting. Hey, it's me again. It was scary.
Yeah, help that with some customer.
It was running out of time, you know, whatever.
I wanna make sure I can come back to you guys.
Yeah, yeah.
So I was doing that and I think that was f****** amazing that I did that because if I would
go into him first I would lose time there.
So yeah, but I went first to one of the husbands coming home and that guy was the guy I'll
call, that was Wintour.
He, I did, I did the whole thing basically and he didn't wanna do it.
He was just smoke screen, smoke screen, smoke screen, smoke screen.
I did everything good.
The pitch.
Sure.
I think I was a little bit too stressed.
So I didn't really get through the whole thing in the beginning, you know?
You're probably subconsciously thinking about that, yes.
Yes, and I was also almost assuming he knew the fiber optic was better because he was a little younger.
But that was the objection.
He was afraid that it was going to be worse.
Because I lower the price too much, basically.
So I see like, oh s***, now it's almost dark.
I was like, you know what?
Here, take my number.
I'll call you tomorrow.
You have to give me a yes or a no.
Because we were going in circles.
Jump into the car, drive there, see the green Audi.
Then I know the hospital was home.
Driving up there, knocking.
And I was like doing the pitch and he was like...
I saw he was like, shot.
I was like, you wife didn't told me.
Told you that was going to come here.
No? Okay.
No, she told me when Renault is here,
my husband is here.
And he was laughing at me.
And then I did a thing.
Solving.
It was darkest past.
Yeah.
Bro, it was so...
Me and you were literally talking on the phone, we were like, we know what this negate is.
We know what it is!
We know what it is!
We know what you're talking about right now, bro.
That's what it got.
I want you to...
This is a reel that I saw.
It was a guy pinching fiber.
And I don't know, it worked!
But something about...
On Instagram.
Yeah.
Before we do that.
Yeah, yeah, sorry.
Yeah, and I want to see that.
100%.
But let's end the meeting with...
Okay, guys.
F*** it yesterday. This is our standard
We can do we can do we can absolutely do more
Are we gonna have to hook up with yesterday?
Yeah, 100%
Can we do worse days?
We shouldn't we shouldn't I know we shouldn't we should have high standards for ourselves
But I think if we keep up with our mentality and the way we're working right now
Yeah, I think this is should be this six sales together should be our last
I think we should kill the f****** gold
101 we see that s*** counts down if we do seven says today as well well
I want that number to go down so
Yeah, and then just counting minus minus and when we do that
f*** is gonna feel good and the money we're gonna make bro like we got
we're not gonna get it let's press what happened guys I'm not gonna let you guys
go and spend that money we're building up this bag
account no party no doing stupid s*** you guys that money yeah nothing good
thing is your stress is gonna really your shoulders gonna feel lighter so
So that's the most important thing.
But yeah, that's what we're all right now.
Let's continue on the same route today.
I know we can do even better if we want to.
But I'm not gonna...
No, everybody's gonna do a three-piece or a four-piece.
Let's keep doing it.
Let's keep the plan.
Six sales together.
Like I said, if we do six sales together,
I know we all are gonna figure it out.
Like maybe you are gonna do a little bit more.
One day.
One day.
You're gonna do a little bit more.
One day.
Or even during the month, like,
you're maybe gonna do the best,
and me and you are gonna do a little bit more,
but we're all gonna make money.
I'm telling you.
Absolutely.
Bro, the number one thing, like you said,
is our six, like, the six sales a day, bro.
No matter who, no matter how, they have to come in.
Whether we have to f****** get Joel
calling his customers, bro.
We don't have to come in, bro.
We need six.
Those sales have to come in.
100%
It has to be from us three when Joel comes in rather more. Yeah. Yeah. I have a hundred percent
Good, okay. F*** it guys one more
Yeah
Sales Training Notes
Wednesday, Oct 7, 2026 · morning session, New Haven CT
🔥 Top 5 to focus on
- Run the full pitch, step by step — no fast pitch. The slow, complete conversation closes. A rushed pitch to 30 doors closes nobody and burns the house.
- Climb the yes-ladder, then ask for the install day.Small agreements first (20 years, old copper, slow, fiber is better, new router, save ~$700) → "makes sense to try it a month" → "Thursday or Friday?"
- Sell all 3 brains.Smile and don't look like a salesman (reptile) → find the problem and sell the feeling (emotional) → back it with logic (logical).
- Team goal: 120 sales together → 6 a day as a team = 2 each.12 done, 108 to go in 18 days. Count down daily in the group chat.
- Discipline wins: up at 6, sleep early, spend nothing.Morning meeting is now 10 AM. Get out of the negative first. From zero it's only up.
1Pitch flow · the yes-ladder
Product sets = a living conversation
- Talk with the customer, not at them. They listen and nod along.
- Let them stop you and disagree — that's good. Handle it right there.
- If you don't do the product sets, their doubt stays in their head as a bad gut feeling → at the close you get "I have to think about it."
Get a yes at every step
- They've had their provider ~20 years.
- The copper lines are old.
- They don't get the speed they pay for.
- It can be slow sometimes. (this is your needs analysis)
- Fiber optic is better than what they have today.
- 1,000 Mbps over fiber beats their current service.
- A new router will make it better.
- Saving money is always nice — ~$700 the first year for something more fun than internet.
- It's logical to at least try it for 1 month.
- "We can do the install Thursday… or is Friday better?" → close on the date.
2The 3 brains
Fight-or-flight. First few seconds decide "not interested" or they listen.
- Good first impression + an opener that sounds interesting.
- Don't trigger the "salesman" defense.
- Small natural smile. A cold stare reads as a threat ("who is this guy?").
People decide on feeling.
- Find the problem: old copper, not getting paid-for speed, slow at times.
- Ask what they pay — but ask it last.
- Then sell the feeling: dedicated fiber line, faster and more stable, new mesh Wi-Fi (7 Pro). Make it sound amazing.
They justify the feeling with logic, then decide.
- Put it all together: speed, router, savings, try a month.
3Objections & closing
- "We're good" through the window before you even say hi → disarm with humor: "Hey sir, I'm not with solar, don't worry — it's actually some pretty important work."
- "I have to think about it" is prevented earlier — do the product sets and let them object during the pitch.
- The pitch and analysis run longer now. That's fine — longer conversations = better sales conversations.
- Even when you don't close, you didn't waste time: you did everything right. Next door.
- Sloppy pitch = you burn the customer ("get off my yard"). Two houses you closed would not have closed on a sloppy pitch.
- Same skill for later high-ticket (roofs, solar): you can't jump to "how much do you pay?" — take them A to Z or lose the deal.
Q&A: is our install quality really great?
- Yes, serious. Our install partner wants to install every order (paid per install) — not like Kinetic. Best install crews out there.
- Focus on selling it right; they handle the rest. A ~90% install hit rate is realistic.
4Real customer stories
- New house, no internet. Bought a house for his son, no internet yet, saw how the Frontier lines were built out → "When can you come out?"
- Had it 5 years ago. Her son handles it and games — he told her to get it. Explained clearly → yes.
- Knock every door, next door, next door — law of averages: there are always a couple who are just waiting for you.
- Doing it right on new turf: 4 closes out of ~6 doors. Rushing it on ~100 doors got only ~2.
5Numbers & team goal
| Item | Target |
|---|---|
| Team goal (together, not just solo) | 120 |
| Team pace per day | 6 / day |
| Each rep per day | 2 / day |
| Individual goals | ~40 each |
| When Joel joins (~10 days left) | +20 → ~140 |
| Daily field time | 6 hrs |
- Splits can flex (30/50/40, 20/60/40…) — what matters is the group total. Push each other.
- Count down every day in the group chat — worked in Nebraska and New York.
- 2 a day on average compounds. 3s and 4s are possible — we haven't tried our best yet.
- Give Joel about a week to adjust to the 6 AM routine.
6Mindset & discipline
- If you stop trying to get better, you get worse. You can't stand still.
- Quality above and beyond — get customers to buy it and love it.
- Up at 6 AM → pray, gym → field. Sleep early; it all starts there.
- Money: get out of the negative and cover rent first. From zero it's only up.
- No spending: no going out, no drinking out. Cook HelloFresh (discount codes for everyone).
- ~6 paychecks left this year — at ~$2K a check that's $12K+, more with bonuses.
- It's about who you become, not just the money.
Earned later (once averaging 2+/day and out of the negative)
- MMA gym — one with a 7 AM class is already found.
- Higher-ticket project: roofs & solar.
7Schedule changes
- Morning meeting moves 9 → 10 AM — calmer mornings with time to prep.
- Wake at 6 AM, gym before the meeting; head home, eat, sleep early.
8Action items
- Post today's countdown in the group chat (missed yesterday): 108 to go.
- Every rep: 2 sales a day, full step-by-step pitch, 6 hours out.
- Practice the yes-ladder and the "not with solar" window line.
- Lock the pitch into a written script.
- Morning meeting at 10 AM; in bed early tonight for a 6 AM start.
- Zero spending this month — HelloFresh codes, no going out.
